Said Ghattas is a former officer in the South Lebanese Army (SLA). In 2010, he was appointed as an adviser to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During his time in the Israeli Civil Service, he worked directly with General Yossi Peled.
Said started Under the Cedar Tree, a nonprofit that promotes peace by sharing personal stories of war and helping families through their struggles, reminding them not to give up on peace.
